INGREDIENTS:
- 2 ounces Rye Whisky
- 3/4 ounce Fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup {or demerara syrup}
- 7 basil leaves, plus more for garnish
- 3 dashes Dillon’s Aromatic Bitters
- Lemon wheel, for garnish
COCKTAIL PREPARATION:
1. Add all ingredients to a shaker, add ice and shake for 10-15 seconds.
2. Double strain the cocktail into a rocks glass and top with crushed ice.
3. Garnish with basil and lemon wheel and enjoy!
